Last month we stated that we were going to talk about the laws of life and since I like talk based off of my experiences, this will be our 1st.

The law of Sacrifice, it sounds so negative, but it is so beautiful!  When you look up this word in the dictionary, there is a lot of animal and possession offering kind of sacrifice, but…way down on the options of definitions under the verb section there is a definition that means: ” the act of giving up something that you want to keep especially in order to get or do something else or to help someone” (webster, 2017)

Decisions, this has been watered down.. we don’t want to make a decision anymore, we want to leave all options open. When you leave all options open, you don’t have the ability to focus on one option and attract it to you.

A decision cuts off all options except for 1,  a choice gives you the power to choose and when you choose, there are always many options that you can bob and weave in and out of.

Making a decision is a sacrifice and we are looking to give up on something of a lower nature to receive something of a higher nature. So we are sacrificing negativity for positivity. We sacrifice unhealthy body/habits for a healthy body/habits. We are sacrificing feeling weak and helpless for strength and the ability to do anything!

When you have a bad attitude about something and your friends don’t want to be around you. You are sacrificing your friends for that attitude.

Bob Proctor says : You cannot hold bad thoughts in your mind and move in the right direction. Let go of anything that is causing you to feel bad”

So earlier this month on the mind we talked about cleaning house with negativity..That’s what we want to do, sacrifice negative , friends, thoughts, people and actions for better ones.  Not everything has to be negative though.  I went a phase very recently, and when I say that I mean within 5 years. Where I made the decision to isolate myself.

The thing about this law is that you have to give up the lower thing 1st…why is that? You don’t have room for it. This

There is another word that goes along with decisions and sacrifice and that is discipline. Every time I think of discipline I think of the military or something that done with repetitive actions. The merriam dictionary says: control that is gained by requiring that rules or orders be obeyed and punishing bad behavior”  but it also has a definition that says: behavior that is judged by how well it follows a set of rules or orders (Webster, 2017)..That closer. The best definitions I have ever heard doesn’t have threats of punishments, or public opinion…it is the ability to give yourself a command and you follow it (Proctor, 2011)

After making a decision, your follow it, not for fear of punishment or external opinion, but because you’ve decided it is best for you.

From that definition, this is why athletes do what they, historical leaders do that they do. And why this law of sacrifice is added in books for marketing and business leadership type of books. but there is no difference between them and you other than the understanding of what decisions, discipline and sacrifice is.

Once you hone in on what it is that you decided on doing and you feel it (because feeling is that frequency, vibration or pulse), you begin to pull/attract those things to you

As you sit and think about what you want to try this on 1st. Remember that it takes the same amount of effort for a small idea as a big idea. Even small changes can make a big impact.
